The comedian Bernie Mac passed away around 2 a.m. this morning from complications due to pneumonia. A few years ago he was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs; it went into remission in 2005.Bernie Mac has been in various projects such as "Ocean's Eleven", "The Original Kings of Comedy", "Bad Santa", "Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle", "Transformers", and his own show "The Bernie Mac Show".
He will be greatly missed.
