Haven't We Been Warned?!?!?!

Watch the video.  HAVEN'T THERE BEEN NUMEROUS MOVIES AND NOVELS WERE WE HAVE BEEN WARNED THAT THESE ROBOT'S MINDS BEGIN TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES (I.E. KILL THE HUMAN RACE)?!?!

Call me crazy, but I am 90% sure that this is NOT a good idea.  At all.

Be Kind Rewind

Be Kind Rewind stars Mos Def and Jack Black.  It's a comedy about a video store that somehow gets all of their videos demagnetized and must recreate them so that they don't go out of business.

It's pretty funny.

My Passion

Here's a little tidbit about me: I
LOVE taking pictures.  I guess you can say I am a photographer.  Ever since I got my new camera for my birthday last year I've been snapping non-stop.  Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time and I have even taken classes to refine my craft.  My appreciation for all types of cameras include polaroid, manual, pinhole, point and shoot, and slr.  I currently own the Nikon D40 (that's my first born) and now I'm looking to add to my memory capturing devices.  I really want to post my pics up on here of some of my photos but I don't want people stealing them and claiming them as their own (that has happened before).  Who knows, I might drop some here and there.

The Nikon D700 (pictured above) is beyond redunkulous.  It's the next camera I want to add to my collection.  The zoom on it is bananas and the clarity and pixel amount is amazing. Here is an example shot:

REEEEEE-MIXXXX!

Remember back in the day when there was a remix to a song it was pretty much like hearing a different song?  Well the concept of a remix must have changed over the years because most of them  are just another artist adding a verse to the same song.  Nothing has changed.  Nothing was remade.  Just the same damn song with a lil something new.

Don't get me wrong, I sometimes like that extra verse from Weezy and other artists, but it's refreshing to hear a remix done right like they used to be.  Ya feel me?

Live Green

So I kinda like living on this thing called earth and I hope that it'll be my home for as long as i live as well as my descendants home.  Ever so often I will be dropping some helpful tips to live a "green" lifestyle.

Above is a picture of a compact fluorescent lightbulb.  They use less energy and last longer than regular lightbulbs.  They cost more than regular light bulbs but in the end, you save over $30 on your electricity bill.

NICE.

My Newest Obsession

I stumbled upon this greatness purely on accident.  I wish I had discovered this sooner.

I feel whole now.

R.I.P

The comedian Bernie Mac passed away around 2 a.m. this morning from complications due to pneumonia.  A few years ago he was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs; it went into remission in 2005.

Bernie Mac has been in various projects such as "Ocean's Eleven", "The Original Kings of Comedy", "Bad Santa", "Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle", "Transformers", and his own show "The Bernie Mac Show".

He will be greatly missed.

08.08.08

On August 8, 2008 at 8 p.m. in Beijing, China, the opening ceremony for the 2008 olympics began.  I hope everyone in the world saw it.  It was the most beautiful thing ever.  At one point, the announcer stated that they didn't start rehearsing until a week ago (WTF?!?).  The ceremony consisted of beautiful lights and precision.  It lasted for an hour; one glorious hour.  If I was there in person I probably would've cried due to the brilliance.   I tried to find a video to post on here, but for copyright purposes, they've been pulled (that sucks so much).

I hope none of you missed out on this!
