On August 8, 2008 at 8 p.m. in Beijing, China, the opening ceremony for the 2008 olympics began. I hope everyone in the world saw it. It was the most beautiful thing ever. At one point, the announcer stated that they didn't start rehearsing until a week ago (WTF?!?). The ceremony consisted of beautiful lights and precision. It lasted for an hour; one glorious hour. If I was there in person I probably would've cried due to the brilliance. I tried to find a video to post on here, but for copyright purposes, they've been pulled (that sucks so much).
I hope none of you missed out on this!
